Baked Sweet Potato Chips

Baked Sweet Potato Chips are a healthier alternative to regular fried chips, it doesn't take that much time of your hands and they are super easy to make!

Sweet Potatoes are rich in Fiber, Manganese (which is a pivotal component in the metabolism of carbohydrates which helps support healthy blood sugar levels) and Vitamins A, C and E.

Ingredients:

1 Large Sweet Potato (thin sliced)
Olive Oil
Sea Salt
Pepper (optional)

How to make it: 

Pre heat oven at 400 F.
Add Olive Oil and Sea Salt to the thin sliced Sweet Potato.
Place them on a baking sheet.
Bake until they get a little crisp and golden. (18-20 min)
Let them cool down and serve!

They can be stored up to 2 days!

Liver Detox Smoothie -Tropical Twist.

Your Liver its responsible for detoxing your body everyday all the time! No breaks!
So lets give it a hand with this delish, easy to make and beneficial smoothie!


LIVER DETOX SMOOTHIE

-1/2 a cup of Pineapple (chopped)
-1/2 q cup of Natural Coconut Water
-1 piece of Ginger

Blend it all and Serve!

My house smells like... Cinnamon?!

"Its like Christmas in June" thats what my friend said when she walked into my house, I didn't know what she meant but I giggled like I always do. "Your house smells like Cinnamon" she said... and then I realized what she meant; I was actually making some Cinnamon Tea.

Someone told me a long time ago that Cinnamon was good to lower blood sugar levels, and if you know me... CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!!! But not only that! Cinnamon is known for plenty other health benefits like lower Cholesterol, Anti-Inflammatory (like button), Diabetes (double like please), Heart Disease, Anti Cancer; minimize the increase of cancerous cells, Arthritis, Yeast Infection; anti-bacterial, Improving Brain Function (we all need some of that these days) just to name a few!

So after all that, who doesn't like this amazing dropped from heaven aromatic
spice?! Personally I make some tea whenever I have the chance, not to mention aromatic scent that adds to my house!

Do you want to give it a try? Just add a few Cinnamon sticks to a cup of hot water, cover it and let it set until it gets warm, add some Agave Nectar or Honey if you prefer, and Enjoy!

Brown Sugar cause my Mom said so!

Who said Brown Sugar was bad for you? At least not for your skin!!!

I grew up watching my mother using Brown Sugar on her face, as a child it didn't make any sense to me, AT ALL!!! But now i truly understand she was taking care of her flawless skin!

Brown Sugar can be used as a natural body scrub. Its easy, cheap and you can make it yourself! Your skin will look healthy, radiant and blemish free!  

You'll need 1/2 cup of Brown Sugar and 1/4 of Almond Oil. Combine until it gets pasty. (Almond Oil can be substituted for Avocado Oil)

What are you waiting for!? Get in the shower and start scrubbing!!!

So there! A beauty secret I learned from my mother and it really works!
